Ugg Australia
The Ugg® Australia story began in 1978 when young Australian surfer, Brian Smith took sheepskin boots to America and this has now grown to encompass the world. By 1998 the product line had grown to include 2 boots 4 slippers and a few casuals, and by 2003 Ugg® Australia was named by Footwear News’ as the “Brand of the Year” and was responsible for the creation of an entirely new category of footwear.
The brand has grown to be recognised as a premium international brand. It has delivered and continues to deliver on its promise of luxury and comfort. Ugg® Australia is about accessible luxury. Our products fit into the consumer’s every day life offering them styless that are fashioable, comfortable and attainable.
Ugg® Australia has also been featured on “Oprah’s Favourite things” five times since 2000 and most recently in the Autumn of 2010.
As a result of Ugg® Australia’s continued international success, sheepskin footwear is seen on the runways of Milan, Paris and New York and it all began on a beach in Australia with an Aussie Surfer.
